Q: Where did the name "Kuiper" come from?

A: We are unabashed science geeks, so the name of the company comes from the "Kuiper Belt", which is a region of our solar system beyond Neptune that consists of a number of "planetoids", including Pluto. The belt itself has thousands of objects which surround the solar system and some of the moons in our solar system are also have believed to be from this region.
